Smirnoff ice in plastic (PET) bottles!

So I quite enjoy a smirnoff ice and it is one of the few drinks I enjoy when it's not ice cold. A few years ago I decanted glass bottles into empty water bottles, but this lost the fizz and it just wasn't the same. A few years after that I managed to get a wholesale drinks company to send me a crate of SI in plastic bottles for the festival and it was great.

It's a few years though since this happened and they no longer stock it. So, I thought it may be worth asking on here to see if anyone knows of anywhere where I can find the elusive SI in plastic bottles?!

(I've tried my two most local Makros, Saxty's wines (online) and various google searches).

Any help appreciated!

They sell it in PETS in the bars, so I would try wholesalers....

I haven't logged in for years, but have been lurking since I'm going to Glastonbury this year.

They sell it in cans in Sainsburys. Not sure if that helps..

Can't find it online, but I was there yesterday and they exist.

It's not bottles but for some reason I'm assuming the no glass rule is the only issue.

I thought they made it in litre plastic bottles no? Or has my imagination gotten the better of me?

Alternatively decent in to plastic bottles, buy some co2 canisters from a homebrew shop then borrow a charger from a balloon suckling, noz monkey and re-fizz.

Incidentally, doing this with strawberries etc. plus a tiny dash of brandy or rum = instant alcohol infused fizzy fruit that tastes amazing.

could you empty glass bottles into a big plastic bottle? If you did it the day before it might not go flat
