Sleeping bag recommendations please?

I personally prefer the rectangular sleeping bags, to the mummy ones. I find the mummy ones too restrictive and need the space to move my legs. Probably just me though! The mummy ones do tend to pack smaller and are lighter to carry. I got an Outwell one from Go Outdoors (pasting in the link isn't working, frustratingly).

It all depends on whether you feel the cold or not, if you do, go for a 3 or 4 season one. It also makes a difference if you are planning to sleep on the ground or have some type of camping mat or bed.

My son is using my new Outwell one the weekend before Glasto, for his Duke of Edinburgh weekend away. So he will be testing it out for me! Actually, must remember to wash it before I take it!

I feel to confined in sleeping bags, especially as I turn and move around a lot in my sleep, so I actually take two (like some sort of decadent roman!). I have one of those cheap micro sleeping bags from tesco which I unzip and use as an under sheet, and then I have a normal mummy bag which I unzip and use as a douvet- high class!
