Who was it that said we need to get used to the fact Tinie and Paulo are headlining?

Oh ye it was Laurie.

Awaiting an apology from Mokes etc.

On a brighter note I've watched the Kasabian set at R1 Big weekend about 5 times now. Black Skinhead into Shoot the runner and Praise you into L.S.F. are both unreal. Chuck Fast Fuse, Take Aim, La Fee Verte, Thick as Theives and a few more off the new record onto that and you've got a hell of a show.

You bullshitted that KOL were headlining for months, you definitely don't deserve an apology from anyone! Edited by Millar95

Black Skinhead? As in the Kanye song?

They did "praise you" into LSF when I saw them, unreal.

does the definitely mean tinie tempah is headlining? I guess if there not in talks with any headliners at the moment its probably too late, there english translation is so shit I'd do it for them for free. Still do not understand why tinie tempah is headlining, a co headline between The Charlatans and Manic Street Preachers would be the equivalent/bigger than last years Primal Scream and Beady Eye in my opinion

yeah beady eye was only good for the oasis songs they played and primal scream (which i normally really like and have been top when iv seen them before) were really poor due to how fucked bobby gillespie was, so yeah that would be an easy match

It's not an ideal situation when the festival punters are juggling the line up themselves so it almost (not really) matches last years poor attempt. This is really poor from Beni, Thursday and Sunday are going to have to be party days with Friday and Saturday the Music days.

The Klaxsons looked good, albeit in a short set at Radio 1's Big Weekend that'd be a Thursdays highlight? Kasabian absolutely killed it, they are going to be pulling out all the stops for there Glaso Headline slot, let's hope we get the good end of that, a real Greatest Hits set list and not just and album plug!

I don't think we are going to get anyone else of note, but I'm staying optimistic, so who else are you looking forward to seeing?

You know what I was talking with my mates the other night about how I don't remember any of primal scream but you mentioning how fucked gillespie was has brought some back. It was one of those situation where you think "Woah I'm pretty fucked here", then you see Bobby G prancing about off his norks and you think "Ahh I'm not too bad actually"

fuck the illuminati trying to keep me down

All I want is loco fiestas and muchos cervesa.

Few more bands on each day then maybe 5/6 for the thursday and I'll be sweet. Ain't gonna be too fussed if it is Tinie headlining cos there gonna be other stages I can go to, or can even fuck off back to me tent and get a few drinks in. Same with Paolo, although I ain't too sure on his stuff might check him out.

think paolo might surprise and be decent, hes got a few good tunes off his second album, penicl full of lead, 10/10, candy etc.

All they need to do now is clash James with Tinie and a lot of people will be happy I think?

i cant fucking wait for james

Was at the James show in London on Wednesday night, was quality.

Please don't anyone think they only have '1 or 2' songs, you could have done another 2 or 3 sets full of songs that they didn't play.

Check out the video for 'Moving On' as well

To most people, myself included they have "sit down" "shes a star" and the American Pie one.

I'm not too fussed about Tinie Tempah, I dont think he should headline but have a few beers and you'll be alright, nothing serious.

    • I was so lucky yesterday, disappointed of course not to see Massive Attack, but gorgeous sets from Blood Orange, Caroline, Panda Bear, and Father John Misty was a real highlight. The half of Geese i saw was mint too.   I wanted to see overmono but couldnt hack it anymore.   But now, its Friday, I'm In Love
