Check the views for this thread and the previous one, the beni threads are the most popular in the international thing.

Comes up high in Google when people search benicassim tips or similar, which I'm sure is how most of us found it.

Would say them few hundred thousand Google hits alone get a fair bit of advert money.

And the whole Libs thing, no one was saying a serious word until the Israeli article got released. If they're that close with Carl, why wasn't it hinted at?

The Libertines thing was put together in a very short space of time, literally a matter of days, and was put together by other people than The Libertines themselves, which was revealed by efests, and then confirmed by their management. In the Israeli article, Peter was talking about being offered it that day. You can find all this in the BST thread in the Other festivals forums.

Anyway, it's run by a team who have inside knowledge of most of the major festivals in the world, and generally know most of the headliners of major festivals before they're announced, hence why people have won several grand off bookies because of them this year. I can imagine that part of the reason they don't make appearances in this particular forum, other than to moderate, is because it's fairly worthless to the website in the scheme of things, compared to Glastonbury, R&L, T and V.

It's also worth noting that the user efests has close links with Carl, and announced the Hyde Park gig several days before it looked anywhere near likely to be happening.

If they, and several other sources, have said he's the final headliner, it'd be willing to bet on it coming from virtually an official source, probably the press release, and him being at least a co-headliner. It's their business to ensure accuracy and protect their reputation, so it's massively unlikely they've given something a guess.

Watch the little video that Beni Just posted today It has Kasabian, The Libertines, Paolo, Lily, weller etc until you come to Katy B, MIA, Example, Tinie Tempah and Tame Impala on on the same shot. The first 3 are in bigger font to. Why would they have done that?

They send me a email once a month telling me about a band I have never heard of playing at tiny festival in the country side that I have never heard of.

Your entire world obviously revolves around this website, but get a life you knob.

The Festival has not confirmed it, The artist has not confirmed it but shit a third party website that houses public forums has so it's definitely true.

If Tinie Tempah had a headline slot at a festival you would think he would be posting that shit everywhere. It would be the biggest moment of his career.

Here is a wager for you.

If Tinie Tempah is confirmed by Beni as the headliner I will bow out of this forum. If another headliner gets announced and your beloved efestivals turns out to be wrong, you do.

the only website im gunna half trust is clash magazine who are an official partner of benicassim doing the youtube highlights, interviews etc for them, in their article they didnt mention paolo or tinie being headliners, just that the libertines are the second headliner announced, until benicassim actually announce that tinie and paolo are headlining i'm sure they must at least be attempting to getter at least 1 let alone 2 headliners, how hard can it even be to get someone like Calvin Harris?

With regards to rumours, I suspect its simply not as viable as it is focusing on the other main ones.

However, with regards to news stories, which is what we're talking about, I've never seen them speculate, simply because their reputation, and their viewership, and therefore keeping the website going, relies on them being accurate. Considering the amount of news stories they publish every day, I doubt they'd bother to simply make things up. The other main point being, Tinie Tempah is now being reported by several major outlets as a headliner. If it's wrong, and it could very well be, I suspect it's come from the press release. I reckon he'll end up co-headliner anyway, but it's obviously come from somewhere for people like the BBC -

Judging by the Beni video alone, they most certainly do not class Mr. Tempah as one of their most prized assets. I have faith that Beni have something else coming up. And considering they've just pulled the fkin Libertines out of the hat, that's exciting stuff.
