Funny - but wouldn't be good - too short, not enough ankle support and never found them particularly forgiving for walking.... I'm pretty sure you were joking but couldn't help but think about it - this stuff matters!

Indeed. We had to take some time out on Thursday to go to a First Aid point with my husband's cousin who had worn her wellies on the Wednesday and she had a really horrid blister that had burst. She had worn her wellies quite a bit as well. Didn't meet her again but kept thinking how awful it must have been for her to have to put the wellies back on when the weather got bad.

This is the same as people going walking or going to a festival with brand new boots that have not been walked in. Then they get blisters and go back online and leave scathing reviews for said walking boots. Like doh. If you are going to spend lots of time walking in your walking boots somewhere WALK THEM IN beforehand - then you will have no blisters. Same with wellies. Just putting them on without wearing a thin sock first and most importantly some soft inner soles and LONG socks, then well, suffer the consequences I say.

Preparation is key here. The one thing you are going to do loads of in Glastonbury is walk so it really amazes me how people just go to a Tesco before they get there, buy a pair of £10,99 plastic wellies and think all will be fine...
