Changing Coach tickets?

So 6 of our group, including myself and my missus, got the combined coach tickets this year leaving from London.

Now we've found out my wife is pregnant, she'll be around 5 months at Glasto, and she's not sure if she can handle the full 5 days. The rest of us will still go down as planned on the Wednesday, but is there anything we can do to get her a normal ticket so she can come down either on Thursday or Friday instead or when she's feeling up to it?

We've thought about mailing the festival office, but just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar.

It's unlikely to be honest, but it's worth a try.

I emailed Seetickets to ask if I could purchase a Brighton coach ticket with them in case my friend managed to get a ticket in the resale (she is panicking about travelling on her own, especially as she's never been before). I asked because when we got a coach from Brighton last year, there were empty seats on the coach. Despite the fact that it would make them more money etc, they just refused. I don't think they're accommodating and I don't blame them, imagine how many people would be asking to change dates//times if they were?

Yeah, there were several of us last year that ended up with Thursday tickets when we'd gone for the Wednesday ones. None of us had any luck in changing them (or none that posted anyway).

As you say, there were others that wanted to for other reasons and I don't remember any of them being able to change either. Always worth trying though, but if no joy it's always possible to get a one way ticket on National Express and meet up outside PGA on the Thursday. The tickets are given to the lead booker on the Seetickets coach without a head count of the party.

I know someone last year that couldnt go on the coach due to an interview the following day. They went to the coach, explained their dilemma to the driver and he obligingly gave them their ticket...

I guess this depends upon the driver, but i am sure in your circumstances if the rest of you were getting on the coach anyway, that he/she would be quite obliging.

They had tried to change it legitimately before this with no luck, and hence it was last chance saloon. That said they were prepared to get on the coach if necessary, and get picked up and driven back if all else failed

if you can get her a lift in a motor then id just get her ticket when you get on the coach and then meet her out side the festi...this can be done as the person who paid by card gets the tickets and if you explain you'll have no worries
