Your cousin can find the details in local papers that are on sale for the next week in local shops, on posters that are in public places locally and even from the Festival office, which is local. Why would you need the details for her?

The information you need is just in the local papers I think. Not sure which ones though. I do know they're checking registration addresses to make sure only people who are registered in the designated local areas get local tickets. :)

If you are local then you will know the details, or can ask your local friends or local neighbours. If you have to ask / dog has eaten your homework / you left it on the bus / aliens ate my local paper whatever it is called, you probably ain't.

I'm trying for my Mum and Dad who are away so unavailible to book there own, are you saying I have to also buy a ticket for myself??

As a local I'm happy to tell you the number it is 01 21 do 1

But if you are a local, I'm pretty sure you need to be one of the 4 tickets you buy so I don't think you can buy 8 tickets etc

0844 412 4627 is the number - you can only get tickets if you're in BA4 anyway so I don't know why everyone thinks you're being sneaky!! I'm still trying to get through 3 and a half hours later so good luck!!

Anyone got through?

Is there a reason why they limit local sales? It can't be that big an area compared to total capacity. For the Reading resident sale they used to do it before the general sale so locals were guaranteed a ticket if they wanted one.

It's to give locals a better chance of attending the festival if they were not sucessful in the main sale. I'm not sure how many tickets are held back but Michael has been quoted several times that no locals need ever miss the festival.
