just noticed Deacon Blue tickets for the forest shows went on sale the other day. 3 dates that finish 19th July which would sit with either Wickerman, Kendal or both.

Could see them at Wickerman theyd b a much better choice than Amy Mcdonald as headliner last year. As for Kendal, i tipped them loads for last years festival. It couod be a reason for a later than usual announcement, if a bands touring they usually like a bit of time to sell their tickets before being announced at a festival, their forest tours went on sale last friday.

Saw them headline the Acoustic tent a few yeaes ago and they were excellent, loads of well known tunes to sing along to.

I've heard The Enemy are playing. I'm guessing they'll be subbing though won't they, can't see them being big enough to headline but then again, Maximo Park did.

Can't imagine the enemy headlining, like you say they'd be good for an under card role though. They've been playing smaller festivals for a few years now so it makes sense they'd appear at Kendal eventually.

They subbed at Y Not last year and don't have an album due so they're going to be an undercard if they're announced yeah. They'd probably put on a good show, a lot of songs that a lot of people know and would have a sing to on the Saturday evening
