Did anyone on here get one of these last year?

I got a ticket on the presale this year which meant buying the coach package, and was wondering if anyone could answer the following;

1) At what point on the way to the festival do you get your festival ticket?

2) Does your coach stop off anywhere on the way to pick more people up, or does it go direct to Glastonbury?

3) What gate are you dropped off at when you get to the festival?

Thanks!

I'm in the same boat as you and can answer number 3,it's at the bus station near to gate A. I think the answer to 1 is around half way through your journey.

I would like to add a question to that and would like to know does only the lead booker need to show i.d. for their tickets or does the whole group need i.d. as well

Had the coach package last year from Glasgow. Got the ticket after the first stop at a service station. Bus was full so no-one picked up on the way down. Our driver ticked the names off a sheet as we boarded and then just walked up the bus and handed out the tickets by name. No ID shown by me or anyone else as far as I can remember.

Just go by coach, it's so easy and you can sleep on the journey. It's a hassle for the coach driver if you get off because they'd have to get your luggage out (and if it's anything like our coach was, the luggage storage was packed solid, it was so full ). You're going to really piss off the driver if you tell him that during his break at a service station, he needs to get your luggage out so that you can do the second half of the journey in a car.

I can imagine every coach is different but we got our tickets at the start once we were all sat down and the coach door was shut. She just read out our names and gave them to whoever responded.

On the coach down from Sheffield, we stopped at a couple of service stations and got them on the second stop. Each coach is different, one guy was really annoyed at the bus driver for not allowing him to get his ticket so he could hop off the coach.

The luggage area is filled usually and any empty spaces are people missing. As far as I am aware, it doesn't stop to pick any extras up.

The coach is alright though, well, the way there was OK, sleep, eat, sleep and more sleep before arriving at Glastonbury! On the way back the toilet was out of order which caused many a problem!
