The thing about Arctic 2 hour set we would get more AM than we need, but we get more stuff from WPSIANWIN. Blink on the other hand would mean we get more classics with a few tracks off the new album (may be good)

I don't think they'll be playing as much AM come next August, after an arena tour to back it up, TITP and 2 Finsbury shows

If they do play it needs to be more Whatever/Humbug heavy

I'm not big fan of Humbug. I prefer Whatever and Favourite Worst Nightmare and would a set list heavy with that. But I would still prefer a 2 hour Blink set over that

    • One thing that Burnham has been talking about is scrapping inheritance tax and replace it with a social care levy ... which would be less progressive, but might be a good idea if was a solution for the social care crisis. Would need to sell it well to a public who would prefer not to pay more tax.
    • Maybe you should put your name forward to be Burnham's chancellor.
    • But I think the point of that Dan Needle tax thing...we need to put up income tax, for all incomes (and thresholds should be unfrozen).
    • There are no easy answers...more than anything we need growth...and probably main ways of getting that is borrowing more to invest in stuff that makes us super sexy, and/or cut taxes on business and wealth generation which would mean less money to spend on public services and welfare and would obviously be super unpopular and get you chucked out of govt. On top of all that got an aging population, a growing welfare bill, a call for higher spending on defence, housing inequality, higher borrowing costs, and probably a load more sh*t on the way due to the Iran war (although so far it hasn't been that bad?)
    • A couple of OR's crew and band have posted Barcelona pics.   HYYPPPEEEEE
