Aye. That's exactly what I'm saying. Dude, I went to Rockness when it was Example and Plan B performing. Example. Plan B. I saw neither of them of course. Bu they have the Sub Club and it doesn't matter even if I don't recognise a single DJ - I know the tunes will be amazing and so will the atmosphere.

Kendal has lots of boutique stuff going on all day every day. Example and Plan B and the Hotpots could be the headliners next year, it wouldn't slow me down for a moment.

Then again, where I am in the world a decent-sized festival is pretty rare. Wickerman is actively anti-Disabled (so I won't go in support of my partner), Rockness and Kendal are at least kind of accessible and guaranteed to have stuff for me to do and be interested in.

As for your Creamfields suggestion, sounds great. I'd go without knowing any headliners. But a half-thousand mile round trip is off-putting.

The numbers dropped with the headliners. Deadmau5 might be gash, but he's popular. Example and Plan B? Both gash AND unpopular.

If Rockness is over that'll be a fucking shame. We'll see. . .

Yeah. I know a few who have been and we nearly went in 2010. To be fair I think the " that could be the last one " rumour has happened the last couple of years. If it does go I`d like to see the return of the Connect festival up this way. Cracking setting ( and closer to me than Rockness ).
