My mates Glasto ticket nightmare!

My friend received his Glasto ticket last week and opened the envelope to find that instead of his photo printed on the ticket they had printed his wife's picture instead (his mrs has the correct pic). This is obviously a cockup by See as they have used the same registrations for at least 2 other Glastos.

He has been told they cannot issue a replacement ticket, but has been told to return the ticket to See, and present himself at a box office near Gate A to be issued with another ticket.

Has anyone on the boards encountered a similar cockup?

Also, he is driving down in a van with 12 people gear in. Will he be allowed to drive into the car parks? (bearing in mind he is ticketless - but will have emails from See etc to back up this story), or will someone else have to park up the van whilst he goes to Gate A to sort his ticket out?

As long as he has a car parking sticker, there'll be no probs getting in the car parks.

Is it just the incorrect picture but his correct details? .. If it is, then I'm sure if him and his wife entered at the same time and explained and showed their tickets with the same addresses .. then they'd understand at the gate. Surely?

all the details are correct. Not sure whats happened cos the two of them have been to the last 3 Glastos on the same registrations

Just be prepared for a long wait! Ticket issues take ages to sort out I would:

be prepared to wait then send your friends in with your gear and make your way to the ticket booth, take some water, get as much paper work as possible, and keep your wife and other ticket when you go.

I had a ticket issue which was not the same, but I did have to go and it took 3 hours.

I wonder what would happen, if that happened when you received your ticket (that you have never seen before) on the coach down there?

I would get straight onto See and festival office. Do you really want to waste a minimum of 2 -3 hours of your festival just getting a ticket which you paid for?
