Do the car parking tickets tend to sell out?

We may or may not need another one but I don't want to purchase unless absolutely necessary.

I have just paid for mine at the gate each year as we also don't know who is driving or how many cars we need.

You can just pay on the gate, I have done so every year (same price).

Last time I went in 2009 we didnt have a car park sticker, at the main gate showed our tickets waved through and told to get one off suchabody with a jacket on, never saw this person, parked up, unloaded and walked in. No one said anything so happy days. Just gonna do the same again this year and see what happens.

£205 for a ticket is over £800 for my carload of people so to ask us to pay £25 to park is a liberty IMO.

The o2 charging £44 for parking from the thurs to monday so people can get the coach is taking liberties... i'm happy to pay £25, cheaper than 2 days in Manchester and I at least know I am not going to my car clamped or something...

... what would actually happen if you were caught without a parking ticket? would you just get billed
