This sounds brilliant!

We did something similar at Download to raise money for various charities over the years.

Would love to be involved in some way. If any places for England are still going I'd be up for it.

Hi,

I was the totally unbiased ref last time, you can see me just behind Hogga in the pictures. Despite all the accusations no bribes were received and my trip to Cuba a week after the festival was purely coincidental. I would be up for playing this time. I am currently in Peru so does that qualify me for Rest of World !!! Some would say I played for England last time. I am working for Oxfam this time anybody any idea when we will get shifts. When I get home I will try and upload some pictures I have loads that my son took.

It was fantastic news to hear about the Glastonbury World Cup being organised once again!

I have 2 caps for England, a few goals and a few assists and I'm gutted I can't be there to help England rise to a 3rd victory in the Glastonbury World Cup!

I'm feeling confident as long as we have the same man mountain of a goalkeeper as we did the previous years!

Good luck to all involved!

England are gutted you can't be there mate. You were part of the backbone of the England squad for the previous two games.

Hopefully we'll see you back in an England shirt another year.

    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
