Did everyone get the email about half price isle of wight full weekend camping tickets. Won`t be going myself but seems like a bargain ?

Also suggestions that T in the park tickets can be picked up for less than face value which would have been unheard of in the past. We are going on the Sunday and there is plenty to entertain me across the whole day / night.

http://clashfinder.c...user=thewayiam I won`t be far away from this fellas Sunday selections. Odd time for Ocean Colour Scene and they have plenty of tunes to fill a 50 minute slot. Also hoping to catch the Stereophonics. There is also alot of pish on the bill. Hence not sold out !

Not surprised to be honest. Seen a huge amount of competitions for IOW and T this year. Not massively impressed with either's line up this year.

Think they're shooting themselves in the foot for next year though...you'd be mightily pissed if you paid full whack and some scroat in the tent next door paid half price. Wouldn't make you rush out and buy tickets in a hurry next year would it?

Fingers crossed for you sir. If you don`t get lucky then I hear there may be an opening in the Sunday night headliner slot. Perhaps you and a few of the other Mumford fans on here :P could get the guitars out and apply to take their place. I`ll pack a couple of ( extra ) waistcoats just in case.

Right. Got a FREE ticket to 'Truck' in Oxford weekend before Kendal if anybody wants it. Bird I was intending to take turned out to be a bit of a mental. And I don't want to sleep in a pop-up tent where the zip doesn't do up with one eye open.

For anyone looking for a guaranteed sunny festival there are still tickets left for Kelburn in Ayrshire, by the sea. 20 degrees Saturday and Sunday this weekend. A few of the dj`s that will be at Kendal plus local bands and Trojan Soundsystem. Got the ciders and the sun tan lotion on ice.

    • Maybe hopeful but get Knocked Loose on the Sunday opposite the legend. Similar to the slot Turnstile had in 2022. Would be absolutely phenomenal.
    • One of my personal favourite bands at the minute - MUNA. Was very surprised not to see them booked in 2023 with their last album but hopefully they'll be around next year. Very fun new album from these guys and, as aforementioned, another standout for me at Big Weekend.
    • Absolutely second this. Were great at Big Weekend and already have a great catalogue of songs forming so far. Would love to see them on the farm!
    • A mixed first day for us. First of all, we were honestly quite shocked that there was no security check at all at the VIP entrance around 7:30 PM. No bag check, nothing. I’ve attended Primavera many times over the years and this felt surprisingly lax for an event of this size. Did anyone else experience the same?   Another disappointment was the communication regarding the weather situation. Primavera has some of the best sound systems and speaker setups in the festival world, yet somehow they were not able to make a single clear announcement explaining what was happening. Instead, people were expected to read tiny messages on screens in Mordor while thousands were left wondering what was going on. A simple and direct audio announcement would have gone a long way.   On a lighter note, this guy absolutely made my day. Sitting right in front of the Estrella Damm terrace, wearing nothing but a long-sleeve shirt, jeans and a pair of Converse All Stars, he remained completely unbothered by the rain. While everyone else was looking for shelter, he sat there wearing sunglasses, calmly watching the crowd as if he was watching a movie.   Absolute main character energy!
    • I think my party got pretty lucky last night, at least compared to some of the horror stories over on Reddit. I was very impressed with Father John Misty in particular.   Perhaps my view would be different if I were a big Massive Attack fan or whatever, but right now my feeling is that if it's not safe for the shows to go ahead... then it's not safe for the shows to go ahead. I'd much rather they were cautious than roll the dice when it comes to something like that.    Here's hoping everyone has a better day today.
