glasto train tickets....

Remember whoever you book through it's often cheaper to split tickets (for example, if I'm going from Oxford to Manchester, I might buy Oxford - Wolverhampton and Wolverhampton to Manchester, saving cash but staying on the same train). http://splitticket.moneysavingexpert.com/ is good, as is http://www.splityourticket.co.uk/.

hmm I think I'll just wait till glasto publish their info, all I could find at the moment was that "Information regarding train travel to the Festival will be available in the New Year." It's a bit confusing with all these tickets search engines and train operators :)

We will travel from from London to Castle Cary, so I'm not sure it will be worth purchasing a railcard for 28 pounds.

There are a lot of sites but the tickets all seem to be booked via the same master system. I usually use national rail's site as a starting point to get times then book the tickets direct from a train operator site. Worth seeing if any operator has offers on, you don't always have to be travelling with them to claim the offers.

    • They had it last year too, between 3 and 4 pm.
    • I've been told beer will be cheaper until 6pm. Anyone can confirm?   Not like i'll drink more than 1-2 in 38 C degrees.
    • This!   Biffy Clyro I don't think would ever get asked, I just don't think it us their scene and it certainly wouldn't be a wise move for them after how the Finsbury Park show went. If they ever had a chance of regaining or staying a bit higher up taking Slam Dunk isn't how you do it. For the cost of it now I think being into the main headliner does make a difference though.
    • Sabrina I actually think is alright, but as an overall thing including Fontaines in the mix it does look very boring.
    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
