I bought myself a pair if boots and sealskinz socks yesterday. After wearing wellies all festival in 2011 my toes were numb got about 6 months!

Also bought a caravan. Glastonbury in style!!

After reading this post I think I will take both.

The forecast doesn't look as good as I've wished for.

I bought a pair of Havaianas wellies at TKMAX for £15 rather than £50 so hopefully it will do the job: warm, dry & comfortable feet.

I had planned on both. Bought some walking boots that were recommended on the bargain thread. Unfortunately, when trying to break them in the tongue put pressure on my shin and over a week later it's still too painful to wear them. I can't take my sturdy old DMs either as any boot that laces puts pressure on the painful area.

Fortunately, with the forecast as it is I'm not overly worried, so will be travelling in wellies and taking an old pair of ankle boots and an even older pair of converse that can get left behind if they get wrecked.
