I don't think this is really suitable for carrying long distances on your back as it doesn't appear to have a proper adjustable waist strap. You need this to take the weight off your shoulders - otherwise it can cause back and neck problems.

Where's that from? I've checked all sites and socials I can think of.

It's completely down to supply and demand. If he's desperate to offload the ticket and there is one other person prepared to pay that price, then your best bet, if you would be happy to have it at that price, is to buy it pronto. I know a couple of people who get in via that route each year, and only pay a punters' ticket price - approx £300. But in this case the buyers and sellers are mates, so you can't really use that to decide the market price for this ticket. If I were you, I'd first decide what price I'd be happy to pay. If it's £1800 or more, then I'd offer him £1000 and see what happens, but be ready to collapse and give him the full asking price if necessary. My guess is that he'll be a trader, and you'll therefore be putting your caravan in a small compound somewhere in the markets area. A great location, but could be a bit busy with people going to and fro, plus you'll need to factor in not being allowed to leave the site until 6pm on the Monday.
