Any of:

Talking Heads,

Libertines,

The National (even though they'd be criticised for being too small, I love them),

The Cure,

Arcade Fire,

Neil Young,

Bob Dylan (perhaps when he was younger),

Jimi Hendrix,

REM,

Radiohead,

White Stripes,

The Rolling Stones,

The Who,

The Verve,

Blur,

Nirvana...

I have thought about all these!! (apart from Talking Heads... Because they are w*nk) and the acts that I'm sadly missing would be stuff like Clash, The Who, Green Day, Ramones, even acts like Dylan or Springsteen would have been a laugh! Hahaaa

About the Kula Shaker comment: yeah I am quite young, about to turn 17! But yeahh I thought it'd be a crazy thing to throw in as an alternative to Dandy Warhols or similiar sort of bands? They just popped to mind as my Dad was talking about them yesterday!

I tried to organise the days as well as I could! I tried to make a distinct sort of Indie/Britpop sort of theme with Sunday and and Sat NME, and I was gonna do my Daft Punk day on the Sunday but Primal Scream/Britpop clash would be quite harsh plus then my NME rock day would clash with the likes of Biffy etc etc? It was quite hard :/

I'm still surprised no one has blasted me for the addition of My Chemical Romance

    • Never too early to start discussing next year’s headliners right?   I’m not attending this year so thought I’d get the ball rolling as I saw Weezer have a new album out in August I’d expect them to do this or Slam Dunk next year. I mean they’re probably too big for this however I think they’re niche enough that they would maybe do it, it just depends on if the fee is a bit out of range for trees.    It’ll be the 20th anniversary next year so I’d expect some throwbacks and hopefully some big headliners/acts. James has already said he’s made a mad booking that you wouldn’t guess & I think he mentioned that he’s spent something like 80% of this years budget of next years top line already on last weeks 2 promoters 1 pod (Don’t quote me on that).    I reckon they’ll try for and get at least two (not all) of the following - Enter Shikari, AFI, Weezer, Sex Pistols Feat Frank Carter, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
    • for some reason last night watched series one of Prey on Netflix.   if Legends was written by Timmy Mallet (see above) then Prey seems to have been made by Mr Blobby.   why are all these British crime dramas so sh*t?
    • It'll be all over various Seatfillers based upon previous years at Sandringham
    • The Jayhawks 2026 UK Tour    Sept 15 – Brighton – Corn Exchange  Sept 16 – London – Electric Ballroom Sept 17 – Manchester – Academy 2 Sept 18 – Glasgow – The Garage    For you ‘americana’ lovers. They have a great song book.
    • Weezer just announced a new album & US tour so could add them to the headliner pool. Imagine they’ll do this or trees
