I hope Arctic Monkeys pull out, just to annoy the people that hate Blink... (I actually don't, because wishing bands to pull out a few months before a festival is a little dumb and selfish. Just go watch someone else or go back to camp and get drunk, and stop whining). There've been plenty of headliners that I didn't like, or think worthy, but I've always just appreciated that other people must like them, and happily gone about my night with an alternative option

They can be ropey live, but they played really well on their subsequent tour, so who knows how they'll perform.

Why would there be backlash here when most people think they suck already? Also everyone I know who went to their 2012 tour said they sorted themselves out and were great

I didn't catch them on the arena tour but their performance at Brixton following it is to this day one of my favourite sets I've ever seen. The crowd was just so much fun to be in and they sounded great.
