3rd Headliner?

efestivals have never been wrong to my knowledge when they put a band TBC, therefore Foo's and Kasabian are two of the headliners so please nobody mention them in this topic. Bloc Party, The Cure, Green Day or Killers I think realistically, views please!

First Post :)

You say "Bloc Party, The Cure, Green Day or Killers"

If Neil is correct then it will not be The Killers due to their V-Festival headline slot. Bloc Party i believe said they would be back to play Reading this year as it is their favourite festival and if I'm not mistaken have subbed 2 or 3 times in a row so are definately in with a shout of being bumped up to headline. (not sure if i read somewhere they were ruled out though) Everything seems very quite on the Greenday/Cure front now to.

If i were a betting man I would say Bloc Party

I wonder if this is going to be the first year where no-one finds out the third headliner until announcement day.

We've been quite spoilt for rumours in the past. ;) Usually for TITP there's at least one headliner who doesn't appear on the Efests page. I don't think anyone really considered Kasabian this year.

Could Melvin just become very "very" lazy and decide to put Lost Prophets as headliner number 3, in the hope that their new album actually does well and they become bigger? Would be a very cheap booking

I know 99.99% if not 100% of people would find this an absolutley stupid commet to make. But im bored so I'll put it out there anyway.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
