New album, & just read she has been announced high up on the bill for a Euro festival (where she would probably be less popular than here-but can't find the info), subbed IoW to Jay-Z which is a popular R+L headline rumour & headlined the Festival Republic's Latitude last year before the release of Ceremonials which has gone Gold.

She's going to be at R+L again isn't she? & near the top too.

I thought Reading may be more her thing but as she's not played V before you may be right.

I can just seeing her on the main stage in a Elbow type slot or headlining NME (subbed the NME stage at TitP) against a big rock band.

She played V 2010, but they're probably more inclined to give her a subbing slot than R&L as she probably appeals to more of their audience. It would make sense for her to play R&L given that she hasn't since 2009, but just can't see her getting the slot there that her management would like over V.

She'd be a fool to headline 1 UK festival though and not play any others on the basis that they won't offer her a headline slot, think she'd probably take a subbing slot which R&L may offer her given that The Prodigy are ruled out to sub and Biffy Clyro are looking unlikely as a sub also, but V may also try and get her, so she'll go for whichever gives the best deal I guess.

Agree that the first album was brilliant, second album isn't as instant, but am liking some of the tracks.

Indeed. 8 date arena tour in 2 days, only by comparison but Noel is huge and he hasn't sold out his extended tour yet, no discredit at all but just shows popularity. £30+ is still enough to find a month before xmas. they will be 3 massive arena selling out headliners.
