Keep an ear out if the times change because this came from Tim Burgess and not the organisers. Just thought I'd let you know so you don't all come hunting for me if they're not there and you miss it ha

I seem to be hearing a lot about The Mono LPs recently through here, so I checked out their music and I must admit I'm very impressed and looking forward to seeing them, seems a few other people are too looking at the other thread about the forum meet up. 2pm on Friday, grabbing a real ale and heading straight over to the House Party on Friday afternoon to watch them seems great to me.

Here's my question though - has anybody else heard the rumour about a possible special guest appearance on stage with them? I don't know if this is true but who do you reckon it could be if it is true, I don't know enough about their background to hazard a guess.

Just an idea...

If the big screen is going to be there again back of the main stage, during the gaps in performances, would it be possible to show announcements for the other stages?

At the moment the BBC site is saying Friday Light Rain, Saturday Sunny Intervals Sunday Light Rain. Looking out the window at the steady rain where I am I'd settle for that ! I do think that any BBC forecast longer than a day ahead is put together by Russel Grant though.

One statistic / Urban Myth that sticks in my head is that the weather forecast has a 60% chance of being right, but there is a 70% chance of the weather being the same as yesterday..

    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
    • Maybe some right wing leaders like Meloni are just playing to their base, like Reform have been here talking about them ending up at Calais.
    • Citizenship via investment programs basically work by saying if you invest this much in our economy (say buy a property worth x) then we will either grant you citizenship or residency with a route to it. The EU has rules on how low countries can set the bar. Montenegro was one of the easier ones to get and they've had to tighten it up.
