HELP HELP! I HAVE LOST MY TICKET

Guest BananaHill

I was packing today and i realised that i cannot find my ticket. I'm normally an organised person but i cannot find it anywhere.

Im getting the train tomorrow

Im going to print off all the documents that confirm i have a ticket, bank statements, ID (driving licence with the exact same picture as my ticket) etc. and hope for the best.

Devastated :(

Has anybody else been in this position before?

What are my chances?

I honestly don't think that you have a cat in hells chance of getting in without a ticket. Sorry :(

You must find that ticket! I misplaced mine 2 years on the trot. 1st year it was in my rucksack, I had placed it in there for safety, 2nd time was in a book. I was lucky to find them.

Turn your place upside down! It will turn up.

My daughter once lost her passport. We eventually found it down the back of a chest of drawers, she had shoved it into a stuffed drawer and it had slid down the back of the unit. Worth a shot. :)

Take time out and think where you last had it. You must put it somewhere safe and forgotten where that safe place is.

I hope you find it : )

I lost and re-found some tickets 2 weeks ago. I was crapping myself as most were for other people. As I live on my own and am careful with tickets I couldn't understand it. It turns out I brought them out of one room to the bedroom where I have my computer in order to look something up on line using the details. Completely wild shot but did you do the same. Look everywhere around your computer. At least you'll be able to rule out that area if it's not there.

Wish you the best of luck.

Get onto the phone onto the site now!

And give the whole house a big once over.

Good luck, I really feel for you. I lost some tickets a few weeks back and my local record company were kind enough to put me on the guestlist. But that is because they are a wicked independent shop! (Btw I am not comparing this to losing glasto ticket) but i remember the frustration and the "i'm sure i put it here" thoughts i had.

UPDATE: I rang up the glasto people and pleaded with them, to no avail.

Checked the bins outside...nothing.

In despair i checked under the microwave and HERE THEY ARE.

So happy, only moments before I was coming up with all these ridiculous scenarios of how I'm going to scale the fence or leg it past security or other implausible entry schemes.

Thanks for all your positive Glasto vibes people, and if you see me in there, I will buy you a pint of Brothers. (Im the one wearing wellies)
