I'll be in absolutely battered in Bristol. Staying at a mates house the night before, and we've already agreed we'll go out for a few quiet pints. Thing is, we always end up in an awful state, so no doubt I'll end up in a mess before the festival's even started.

In two weeks time I will be sitting in our car, with my girlfriend and best friend, probably still on the M25, contemplating what time will be exceptable for best friend and I to open out first cans of ice cold Brothers festival strangth... (my girlfriend chooses to drive!!) The car stereo will be blasting out my already prepared Glasto playlist, and I will have a huge grin plastered over my face (albeit praying for better luck with traffic)

I will also being have some sympathy for my 16 year old, who will be getting up about now, trying to concentrate on the GCSE exam he has in the morning, whilst being stupidly excited that straight after that he'll be rushing back to get changed, to get on a train down to Castle Cary!! He'll also be panicing about being late for the train I reserved him seats on, despite my assuring him that if he misses that one, his ticket allows him to get on the next one!!
