This time in 3 weeks, I will be packed up, and trying to get the last few hours of sleep - won't be sleeping again till Wednesday night (arriving Tuesday Night), before setting of, and meeting up with CT people in the carpark

I'll be getting ready to drop off the cat at the cattery, which consists of sneaking up behind her and bundling her in the cat box before she realises whats going on!

Meg doesn't enjoy her holiday nearly as much as we enjoy ours

Will be in Glasto town most likely, talking about the Solstice shenanigans of the previous night and gearing up for a few Addlestones at the Riflemans

I will almost certainly be doing this i.e. checking efestivals at work. I'll then get home, pack, watch Glastonbury The Movie and will set off around midnight, stopping at the 24hr Tescos en route.

This is the first year in what feels like ages where I've not had to work onm the evening of the night before, which will be a nice change!

In three weeks time i shall already be on sight, probably walking around the whole festival, noticing how there is still grass and smiling at the prospect of everyone else getting in the next day. I will be covered in glitter and definitely drinking.

21 days and this will be true. i can't bloody wait!

Either reading this and getting ridiculously excited whilst pretending to work, or at Wimbledon watching the tennis, haven't decided yet. Then later on our friend will be arriving from Newcastle and we've got another mate staying at ours too so no faffing about in the morning. We'll do a quick food/ drink shop, pack the car and head to the pub early doors in an attempt to get a little bit drunk, back home and asleep by 11/12, aiming to get up and on the road by 6am. Something tells me there may be a flaw in this plan...

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
