Pulling at Glasto

A few years ago I woke up with a hangover like I'd been stabbed in the eyes to the sound of my mate grunting 'urrgh I'm cummin'.

This was bad. But got even worse when the 'lady' he'd just played 'hide the wookie' with asked for some bog roll as his man fat was leaking out of her onto the groundsheet.

How are you supposed to eat bacon when the image of a womans fanny looking like a popped chicken kiev is fresh in your mind? Please everyone, for the sake of your fellow festival goers, refrain from engaging into sexual congress at Glastonbury.

I've been to 3 Glastos, the 4th coming up shortly, and i've pulled once. But i'm staff and have easy shower access. If i pull in 2011 i'll have a 50% success rate lol.

But i think you've just got to go with the flow at Glasto. Don't worry about pulling.

Last year was my first year and I did.. what made it more awkward though was that my friend walked me home the night before this went down and I let them stay as their tent was so far away, so to the people I'd just met and was camping with it did look like different people emerging from my tent each day which wasn't the case in THAT sense at all!

Glasto '08, I went for a drunken late night ramble to the cinema field to watch Iron Man. Being the cinema there weren't any lights around, but after a few minutes of darkness I noticed someone sat 10 feet in front of me rhythmically rocking. Bit odd I thought, then after more squinting I realised it was actually 1 person sat on top, riding the other! In my drunken state I couldn't stop laughing and had to walk away as I didn't want to ruin the moment for them.

I personally thought Iron Man was a great film, obviously they weren't too impressed.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
