Ye Neil had the headliners nailed last year and the years before that, this year you can pretty much guarantee that Foo's and Kasabian will headline with Kaiser Chiefs 3rd from top. When efests say TBC then it is definite pending confirmation from FR, Strong rumour then it is highly likely and rumour is just as it suggests.

My guess at first announcement:

Friday Leeds Sunday Reading

Foo Fighters/Queens of the Stone Age/Special Guests/At The Drive In/The Gaslight Anthem/All Time Low

The Macabees/Foster The People/Angels and Airwaves/

Saturday Leeds Friday Reading

Kasabian/Dizzee Rascal or New Order/Kaiser Chiefs/You Me At Six/Fleet Foxes/Feeder

Chase and Status/Special Guests/Metronomy/Knife Party/Tribes/Howler

Sunday Leeds/Saturday Reading

Greenday or The Cure/The Black Keys/PJ Harvey/Lostprophets/Rancid/Dropkick Murphys/All American Rejects

The Special guests on the Foo's day would be Tenacious D post Download and the tent no idea

Other bands such as Bowling For Soup, Lower Than Atlantis, Twin Atlantic added on the main at a later stage

    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
    • I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
    • Not at all impressed with Polanski saying "noone should be barred from public life" wrt the Tory neo-nazi. I really don't think "no nazis in politics" should be an excessive standard.
    • Dug into Milkweed some more and this was a brilliant suggestion. Thank you 🙂   This will come as no surprise, but I have been told that there are some band substitutions to come.
    • Yeah, I think it's important to differentiate between a stage that's just a platform for the artist to walk on (which can be assembled fairly quickly and without too much difficulty), and the custom staging that you get in big productions where there's a whole world underneath.   Using the Eras tour as an example the stage extending out into the stadium field has all sorts - lifts that go up or down - down most importantly as this allows performers to enter or to leave the stage as needed. There's passageways to get from one part of the stage to another. There's what are effectively dressing rooms set aside for costume changes. There's spare instruments (and techs to look after them) so if something goes wrong above they can be swapped out in the space of seconds. There's even a track and dolly system running the full length of the stage so that Taylor can be moved from one end to the other faster than she'd be able to walk.   I don't know the specifics of the Madonna tour to the same degree but my understanding is that a lot of the same techniques are used.
