They wouldn't ever be that low at this moment in time, if the second album does well expect them to be 2nd/3rd on the mainstage next year. You may not like it but it is going to happen.

The quotes in this thread are a little misleading

Whats actually said is would the speacial guests appeal to a Rock Sound fanbase [the website asking the questions who are typically a Download/Sonisphere going crowd] and Melvin replies if they are open minded then they might appeal

which leads me to think its gunna be a 'dance/urban/r&b/drum n base/hiphop' artist.

Won't be anyone from V

And those saying Kele, HE'S AT V!

It's fourth down in the tent for chrissakes, it isn't going to be anyone spectacular. Also if it was they wouldn't be listed as special guests, they simply wouldn't be listed at all.

Atoms For Peace? Would be very special, I guess they would have been more likely if it was just a gap in the programming like TCV was in 2009.

You'd have to gave an open mind for them, but again, that could mean alot of things..

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
