They're prescription standard, costing from £2 upwards, branded "Readyspex", and available in most libraries, bookshops, and even the likes of Primark.

i've seen the long sighted glasses that cost a couple quid in supermarkets but never short sighted ones....

according to the misses who works in a library which sells them, all types are available to match any prescription.

A quick google for "low cost glasses" only brings up reading glasses.

I want more info on these holy grails of reading equipment!

went to Boots opticians today and got two pairs for £79, the guy said there is no such thing as short sighted glasses for under £25, and the ones they had for £25 were awfullllllll

I could supply you with the frames--giving you a choice of about 15 styles ranging from Diedre Style to John Lennon or Sven Types..all you would need to do is get your lenses.

I got lasered about 7 yrs ago so all my years of glades gather dust in drawers and car glove boxes etc.

I get my reading glades from Primani or The £ Shop.

Remember, if you are on the sausage or similar... you will get Joe 90s etc fer nowt.
