The title of this thread penned by My Mate is a fantastic play on words.

I`m cekkling me knapper off as the Tube is being readied.:lol:

One wifey being interviewed said (in Chilean of course...I`m interpretating it for you).....

"Being down there has changed him. He is more humble. He better stay like that!"

bugger me--- betcha he cant wait to get up to the surface. In fact--if he saw the interview.. he`d be probably saying "Leave Me Here!!!"

These events, and the earthquakes in Haiti, the floods of Pakistan, The Tsunami etc etc.... always get me onto thinking about The Meaning of Life etc. How we moan about what we dont have, what we want etc etc.

We are never happy with our lot.

Wonder how many on this forum are actually "happy". Genuinely happy.

And what is happiness.

Just by reading posts and taking them at face value... we`d conclude Mr Oafish is the happiest being on Earth along with My Mate.

Conversely... No1 is carrying the biggest packet of Walkers Bitterness.

Its funny isn`t... we do portray ourselfs in a certain way through our posts... I wonder how accurate our posts are in reflecting our personalities etc.

Anyway...yes... its great these blokes are coming out ;)

That Kraut/American/Chilean bloke who`s just been on...he was a queer stick.

Very valid point mind about how all this is gonna affect them.

These blokes are rough as dogs miners... they are going to be thrust into the worlds spotlight..probably get bundles of Chilos (or wahtever chilean dosh is).

Wouldn`t be suprising if some of em end up with their lives ruined,if you know what I mean.

What is the inevitable fim going to be called?

Was reading in the Independent today that one of the miners has a bit of explaining to do. When his wife turned up after the mine collapsed with a photo of him, she found another woman doing exactly the same thing. Turns out, it was his mistress  There's been a proper scrap about it as well already
