Max 14 during the day on Saturday. Yikes, 20 degrees down on last year!

However, I guess some thick socks for the wellies, a good thinsulate hat, warm jumper and a waterproof poncho to chuck on whenever there is a brief shower and it should be fine. As long as we don't have long periods of horizontal rain then having to stand in mud is fine as long as you keep warm (and cider does help with that). All in all if could have been far worse. Time will tell...

Oh f**k off. I see no 'nakid ladeez'. If you are offended by those pictures then I suggest you stay off the internet, never watch TV and, infact, never leave the house, else, shock horror, you might see someone advertising a product using provocative imagery.

No idea on how to read the weather charts, but from where I am the forecasts are getting better and better. Fingers crossed the site will have time to dry up a little by weds morning. Love this:

Another little article here about the weather over the coming weeks:

http://travel.aol.co.uk/2011/06/18/uk-still-facing-drought-despite-wettest-week-in-four-months/

Not the greatest one here:

Seems that its a case of pack for all cases really, either way it will be quality :)

The thing to remember with the rain predictions as well is, that when they're only predicting sho**rs, they might literally be two minutes of very brief dr**zle.

Unless the prediction is above 4mm for a couple of hours, it's just down to chance as to whether there will be any r*in.

There's still 3 sleeps to go... Let's see if we can break a record! ;)

So Countryfile tonight... :) 2008 was my first year and I think I could take 2008/2009 a million times over... From seeing pictures of 2007, I really don't want that...

Is 2008/9 the best we can hope for atm? Or is it looking completely dry all festival anywhere?

My first Glasto was 1985 which was really, really muddy. However, I was so young then (and wasted) that I cannot remember if 2007 was worse or not (weather-wise). However, I really enjoyed 2007 nontheless so I guess it really comes down to having a positive attitude and it will be great anyhow.

Look how attitude can change the way you enjoy a muddy Glasto:

    • A win is a win but it was a very poor game with only 4 shots on target in the whole game. Scotland obviously handed a massive bonus with Brazil and Morocco drawing but I don't think either of them will be too worried.
    • Word of advice, your work-life energy balance should be 60% energy for work and 40% energy for life. If you're drained after a day's work, that is something you should strongly look into. Especially if it is solely due to work.
    • Well that was a game completely lacking in quality. I think Scotland didn’t deserve to win and were lucky Haiti couldn’t hit a barn door.   However if your Scotland you just take the win and run. It may be enough to get to the last 32. I hope it’s just a case of nerves and now they have points on the board they will show more in the next few games. Better to play poorly and win, then play well and lose!
