Billing Address

After 3 hours of failed attempts actually filling in the booking form is a bit of a blur... am still waiting on any email confirmations. I don't remember having to put my card address in, did it just take it to be the first registration number details? cos if so they weren't the same as the card I used... have I messed up? or am I just panicking and forgetting typing my address in!

We did the exact same thing and are now sitting here stressing!

We confirmed the booking then realised that we hadn't entered the address, only to discover it defaults at the first one.

As it was quite confusing we are praying that they will just still honour the transaction and let us change the address. Keep me posted if you hear anything.

I'm in exactly the same situation. A mate managed to get me mine but I tried for 6 friends afterwards. Seeing as my details weren't on the page with everyones registration numbers, at no point did I see a chance to enter my address. Made the mistake of assuming that it would ask for it further on in the process. I've got my confirmation email through but am guessing the payment will eventually fail. I'm gonna go and see my bank first thing tomorrow, seeing as I still can't get through to See so hopefully they can authorise it their end. Keep us updated on here when you here of any developments with yours though, there's clearly a few of us in the same boat so maybe we could help each other out on here

Same prob here. Basically my friend put her details first, but only had credit card, so I used my card, but would have been with her address as she was first in the list. Also my reg address is dif from my billing address anyway. Can't remember what I did last yr. Anyway, have had conf email, so will just be calling see tomorrow I think to explain. Fingers crossed, have 6 tickets depending on this!!

I would like to know the definitive answer to this as well. I bought 5 tickets for friends on a second transaction where I wasn't one of those five. I got the confirmation email, but as my card details don't match any of the addresses is this a problem or does it make no difference? If anyone hears from Seetickets I'd love to know before I call them myself.... I suspect they'll be busy tomorrow!

My registration address is an old one - same situation last year. Tickets bought OK last year. With the registratiosn been valid for 3 years there must be a fair few people with different addresses. I went in at a later date and changed the delivery address - but again not to one where my card is registered - i had my tickets sent to work.

Glad (ok, thats probably a strange word for it but it'll do) to hear I'm not the only one in this position. My brother got 8 tickets for him and friends (me included) but put my reg number in first so See will think i'm the card holder/billing address. The site was VERY poorly designed and this wasn't clear at all, especially when I can imagine most people just begin to panic type their card details in and click go asap - just another example of why I hate seetickets with a passion.

I'm going to call them tomorrow and hopefully have them either change the card details or the primary order contact. I've been trying to call them all day but, understandably, no answer yet. I'll keep you all up to date on how I get on.

in the same boat here as well, billing address is me, card details were my brothers who lives elsewhere. We thought the billing address was whoever got the receipt and tickets not the cardholders address. But with hindsight..... <_<

and so I'm guessing See will be in contact if theres a problem.

Now you have got me worried. I brought 4, and put someone else in the first registration box (didn't see anything to say they must be the card holder, but I was rushing). Hopefully it will go through, and if not, hopefully they will have the common sense to call me, as trying to call them is near impossible

I have emailed them requesting that they change the 1st registration name, so hopefully it will be sorted

I think its all going to be fine, people seem to have ordered without giving the cardholders address in the past with no problems (I may even have over the last 2 years, honestly can't remember!). Plus peoples experience seems to be that if there is a problem taking payment that seetickets give you a chance to resolve it before cancelling your order.

I'm sorry if i've caused anyone unnecessary panic with this thread, is just very unusual to be able to use a card online without giving the correct name and cardholders address.

Just spoken to See and (not that I believe a word they say after the hassle I had with them earlier in the year) they have confirmed the payment was authorised despite the addess being wrong. They have also confirmed that even if payments were declined they will try to contact people to let them know rather than just cancel the order. I've not seen the money leave the account yet but sounds like all is OK.

In short - panic over, time to start preparing my wellies!! (needlessly of course because its going to be sunny again! :D )

    • A mixed first day for us. First of all, we were honestly quite shocked that there was no security check at all at the VIP entrance around 7:30 PM. No bag check, nothing. I’ve attended Primavera many times over the years and this felt surprisingly lax for an event of this size. Did anyone else experience the same?   Another disappointment was the communication regarding the weather situation. Primavera has some of the best sound systems and speaker setups in the festival world, yet somehow they were not able to make a single clear announcement explaining what was happening. Instead, people were expected to read tiny messages on screens in Mordor while thousands were left wondering what was going on. A simple and direct audio announcement would have gone a long way.   On a lighter note, this guy absolutely made my day. Sitting right in front of the Estrella Damm terrace, wearing nothing but a long-sleeve shirt, jeans and a pair of Converse All Stars, he remained completely unbothered by the rain. While everyone else was looking for shelter, he sat there wearing sunglasses, calmly watching the crowd as if he was watching a movie.   Absolute main character energy!
    • I think my party got pretty lucky last night, at least compared to some of the horror stories over on Reddit. I was very impressed with Father John Misty in particular.   Perhaps my view would be different if I were a big Massive Attack fan or whatever, but right now my feeling is that if it's not safe for the shows to go ahead... then it's not safe for the shows to go ahead. I'd much rather they were cautious than roll the dice when it comes to something like that.    Here's hoping everyone has a better day today.
    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
