some places are saying Wagner / Paije are bottom 2, some say Cher / Katie. Actually looking forward to watching the results for once  everyone was shite last night imo, just want to see Wagner go through just to see the judges faces

just going to make one point about take that (though i dunno why it's relevant in this thread when theres a cin thread), but i had my head in hands for jason's solo part in never forget. cringe!

i was just thinking though about matt. didn't someone recently buy his bands album from itunes? this being the same matt who is a struggling painter and decorator still living with his folks? something doesn't quite add up there for me...

aye but have your mates bands got pretty professional looking videos to go along with their albums like was posted on here a few pages back? i dunno i'm just a bit sceptical of the whole matt thing now. especially now if he's being a bit of a c**t like i've heard he was on the xtra factor to wagner. either he's a c**t or he's playing along as simon's puppet. not interested...

http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/celebrity/council-estates-quarantined-as-cheryl-link-confirmed-201011223273/

BRITAIN'S council estates have been cordoned-off after they were linked to the creation of Cheryl Cole.

'What THE f**k are you looking at?'

The move comes as department of health experts investigate claims by Wagner, the sociologist and sinister cartoon lion, that the X Factor judge's humble origins may have led directly to her chilling personality.

Officials have warned that 'Cheryl Syndrome', an affliction marked by fame obsession, poorly realised tattoos, funny little eyes like full stops and a frightening amount of self-belief, could spread out of control among young women.

Epidemiologist, Nathan Muir, said: "Cheryl Syndrome is like German measles - ostensibly not life-threatening but damaging in subtle, dangerous ways.

"However unpalatable it may be, we cannot disregard the possibility that Cheryl's deprived and modestly violent upbringing was instrumental in making her whatever she is today.

"One hypothesis is that lack of means to buy expensive things coupled with an ITV shit-fuelled belief that a massive, beige house, extended hair and a luxury mattress spattered with footballer juice is the ultimate a young woman can aspire to may be the 'perfect storm' that generates Cheryls.

"As with all these things the real fear is that the disease could mutate. Cheryl Syndrome could cross class barriers, causing albums, chippiness and viscious, unprovoked assaults on toilet attendants by well-brought up girls whose parents have excellent lawyers."

Council tenant Roy Hobbs, who has been stopped from leaving his estate since Saturday evening, said: "I'm a 46-year-old occasional plasterer, what are the chances of me forming a sassy girl group and enjoying contrived affairs with overtly metrosexual dancers?

"Slim to none, I'd say. Then again I could be marketed as 'The Plasterer', singing 'songs of earthy wit and wisdom' while sitting on a pretend stepladder in my vest."

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
