Entry on Firday morning

Is it easy and relatively fast to entry the festival on Friday morning (10h00-12h00) at time to see the first acts?

Do you have a weekend or day ticket?

I have a weekend ticket every year but don't turn up till the Friday because I'm local. Usually you can get weekend wristbands on the Friday with no queue (because most weekend people have already gone in). If you're on day tickets, there might be more of a wait - last year I definitely remember a big queue for entry on the Friday.

They also changed the layout of the site a year or two back so it's a good 15 minute walk from the wristband exchange to the arena. I didn't allow for this last year and missed most of one of the first acts (who I really wanted to see).

There's often quite a large mass of people before the gates open but once they do it rapidly dissipates.
