How full are the car parks now?

Just heard from my brother (who has been on-site since Saturday). He has just this minute moved his car offsite to the orange car parks where normally he leaves it in the car park as close to the fence as you can get. Tonight, he is parked about two fields away from the fence as the nearer ones are already full.

On his way back through the gates, he also gave his respect to the first two people who were standing at the gate with all their stuff, drinking a beer at the front of the queue.

Yeah yeah. Last year. Blah. Blah. Plenty of threads on that already. I think we all know that was due to a couple of crashes and that most years there aren't many problems with queueing.

How full are the car parks NOW please. Are they enforcing the stay in your car rules?

Really cross right now that I was arguoing that a 4am start was too early, I feel like leaving now, never mind 6am, panic panic, best spots already full, etc.etc...

Joeyb... so they're letting people queue already? deffo worrying now. :(

You're stressing !! Spare a thought for all those arriving by train/coach during the day tomorrow who will no doubt be right at the back of queue of all those who could (and did !) turn up way before the gates open :(

Am finally all packed and ready to go now but no trains til tomorrow morning so just looking *very* longingly at the Glasto Webcam and all the pretty lights etc. :D Tis looking very nice ... but hardly anything remotely close to being a good substitute for the real thing and all that.

    • Liddle: "Drop a small nuclear bomb on Glastonbury to immediately remove from our country almost everybody who is hugely annoying.”   Farage: Free speech!    Polanski: accepts a collaboration on 20 innocuous looking set of photos on instagram but doesn't notice that one that says 'making plans for Nigel' with a guillotine image.   Farage: I expect the MET police to arrest him.
    • I take my lad to the local non-league club - Royston Town - not he's 13, he goes there with his mates and he plays in their youth team.  Not many people there - lucky if they hit 800, but lovely supporting the town team.  I've took him to some league clubs too - Cambridge and Stevenage are great to visit and not crazy prices - his first one was Cambridge v Sunderland (I'm a mackem) when they were in league 1, so a great experience for him.  The England matches aren't too bad value either at Wembley - it's just the parking that stings you. Problem is, he's a City fan, so at some point have to bite the bullet and get him up to the Ethiad. Have done the tour, but he'd love a proper game....my wallet, less so!
    • Said it before, but if Annie Lennox is available next year, then it would be an absolute crime to instead book anyone else. She's rare and legendary enough that you drop all other plans.
    • I was having a tired day, my apologies 😂
    • I was there with Oxfam too! I got earlies so it was probably me who registered you on arrival 😀
