The competitions are harder to find this year, they must bot be giving the tickets away like they did last year. Might try and get a couple of tickets off eBay closer to the time, but it all depends on my money situation as I'm a bit f**ked currently.... There's a chance I could get sacked, and ironicly thy would put me in a better situation due to severence pay and the fact I've already started looking for a new job means if all goes REALLY well I could get final pay cheque, severence pay, and a (albeit smaller) pay cheque from a new employer at the end of the month!

I remember when I said there wouldn't be as many contests/free tickets this year and half the people here called me an idiot or whatever. Yeah, now who's laughing ;)? Contests this year will be pretty much on par with other festivals, they only gave away tickets last year because it was in it's first year and they wanted to get the brand out there, now that the festival is fairly established amongst the rock/metal scene it's not needed. Oh and they only gave away about 2000 free tickets last year, so that's not half.

Also yes, Friday is £40 (it's only a half day), other days are £65

    • Kronenberg in a tent as well IIRC but Brooklyn Pilsner was easier to get without queueing and was everywhere across the festival.
    • I think they'll end up doing something due to pressure and bad PR. Maybe they do a discount code for next year or bar credit or something along those lines.    I agree though. I acknowledge that the lineup is huge but surely you can't cancel 33% of the headliners and not reimburse in some way. Their insurance will probably cover their fees for MA, Doja, Bad Gyal and Mac DeMarco due to force majeure.
    • Looks like nothing for weekend ticket holders. You'd expect a goodwill gesture.
    • Enough has been covered about how much of a sh*t show that was, so I'll just say, Massive Attack and it's relationship with this festival (and potentially me) are f**king cursed.    They were announced in 2020 when I first got excited about seeing them. They were subsequently on the poster for 21, 22 and now 26. This time I was in actually in the crowd close to the stage waiting for them twice haha. I give up!
    • Thanks for the suggestion, had never heard of them yesterday and have picked up a ticket today.
