agreed. i say he's got another 2 years max. and in those 2 years i'd expect either premiership or champions league. if not, then the sack.

and arsenal being there is around what i expected. i guessed they'd be third though, not liverpool.

Great result for Spurs. Shows they can slum it if needs be.

Question - Apart from the mouthing off, snogging Gerard Pique, flicking on the odd nice touch and howing a flash of brilliance every five games, does anyone know what Zlatan Ibrahimovic actually does?

Because I dont.

Great result for us tonight, Sandro was our best player by a country mile. Wasnt a great performance but happy now that the team have that kind of performance in them. Would love to get Schalke in the quarters, think we would have a decent chance against them.

I agree, Spurs have really surprised me with their play this season. And, if Arsenal can beat them, why can't Spurs?

all i keep hearing from the Goons today is how they would have beaten that Milan side as well, so its not fair to laugh at the fact that we have progressed further than them.

I keep having to tell them that if they couldnt beat Braga and Shaktar away from home, how do they expect to have gone in the San Siro!!

Great Days!!

Sorry steve! :P;)

the OFFICIAL AC Milan facebook page is VERY dignified

response, FROM THE CLUB, 11 hours ago

"f**k You Tottenham"

i expected more from them

And ampers was saying Wenger was a bad loser.:lol::lol:

Yet Wenger congratulated Barca, and pretty much said they were deserved winners. His issue was only about the sending off of RVP.

I've decided that I'm gonna knock off work just before 6 today, to watch what will probably turn out to be a dreadful match - Braga vs Liverpool.

I'm interested to see it as Carroll should be making his first Liverpool start, but expect it to be dreadful cos just about every other one of their Euro matches this season has been awful. Fingers crossed that this one isn't.

    • I saw this just after it was posted yesterday, I barely paid attention to it. I didn't realise it had blown up in the way it has. I'm sure (kind of) that Sziget will be unaffected - it brings in billions of huf over a very short period. Its consumption, compared to the rest of Budapest, will be tiny in reality. That said, nothing wrong with encouraging people to use less energy whether it's now or in the future.
