Jesus christ on a bicycle.

From Tariq Panja of Bloomberg on Twitter

tariqpanja #MCFC announce losses of 121 million pounds for year ending May 30 2010, second highest loss in Eng football history. Only eclipsed by #CFC

tariqpanja #MCFC income of 125 million pounds entirely swallowed by wages of 133 million. Wages up by 50 million - that's before this summer splurge

tariqpanja #MCFC need to deliver now. Sheikh Mansour's investment since Sept 2008 is now more than 500 million pounds. #Abramovich spent 700 in 7 years

Can't be arsed mate. Far too happy taking it easy on the couch watching the Ryder Cup and t'Interneting! I'll definatley get worked up about the whole thing and to slightly vent my anger the laptop will end up getting turfed out the window and go swimming in the pond in the garden. I can see it now.

Edit - well I was until rain stopped play.

No one's worse than these pair of tophats. Not even the Glaziers down the road !

That's not actually true - while both clubs are f**ked by the debt the 'buyers' brought along with them, only one of those owners is leeching money directly out of the club to finance their own high living. ;)

Bill Archer takes the award for worst chairman for me. Sold the Goldstone Ground to personally profit, and arranged for Brighton to have a groundshare with Gillingham, which was over seventy miles away.

massone did the same. though it's not a media darling club so not reported.

Oh, any club that can turn a profit will have that profit being taken by its owners, either directly and transparently, or quite often by surreptitious means. For example, Halls and Shepard at Newc were claiming to be be pumping money into the club, but were actually extracting far more than they put in via various scams which channelled money back into their pockets.

The difference at Utd is that their financial situation is getting worse and worse before the owners take money out, and made all the more worse by the money the Glazers are taking out because they're personally skint.

    • Yeah f**k knows at this point.   I did a little bit of digging earlier, and it was more 'on the ropes' than categorically not happening, and the reason been that she's asking for all sorts. I think all sorts is more production based stuff rather than the fee. As I keep saying, though, there's a lot of whispers at the moment but very little concrete.
    • Ah they did yes, maybe she asked for a lot more than that. Given for example what harry had at Wembley she could have a big stage that juts right out at BST and get mega money for it for 3 nights. She won't get anywhere near that for Glastonbury
    • They did have a big ramp to the front and sides though. And the phoenix.
    • Somerset live says  Olivia Dean has turned down the chance to headline as she is concentrating on new music next year. Not a very reliable source of course.
    • They didnt move any product things etc for the stones i don't believe who commented recently on how far the crowd is away.
