Full change of clothes left in car for drive home. And a box of cereal bars.

Alka Seltzer XS

Leave the jeans at home if tuesdays 5 day forcast isn't too good.

Large bin liner in your rucksack and then your clothes inside this, when you have packed twist the top tight. Also if it is wet, which it won't be, and your rucksack isn't a posh one with it's own rain cover, another bin liner to put over the outside. A blue rubble one does the trick.

Small vicks vapour rub or tiger balm for a little dab under your nose if you really can't hack the long drops.

Oh and before you leave the house, put clean fresh bedding on your bed, Monday nights sleep is the best ever... :)

If it's a wet Glastonbury, the clean clothes in the car for the Monday morning is the best advice there is ever! 2007 - I did a full strip in the car! :O

Other advice I'd give would be to make sure you pack some Berocca energy tablets. Take them in the morning & they really set you up for the day! :D

Make sure you tighten the bolts on your trolly's wheels. I see it year after year, broken trollys minus wheels by the wayside.

Failing that, take spare tools to fix it. And bungees or ratchets to secure stuff.

Binliner on the inside of the front door to put your wellies on rather than washing or picking mud out.

Pillow case to put your jumper in - voila a pilow. Or you can just fold it up :P

Take some Pro-plus or Lucozade/glucose tablets with you if you're worried about lasting the duration. The latter are also good for helping with maintaining steady blood sugar, stopped me from collapsing not too long ago.

This is a bit of an odd one. But useful if you happen to have one lying around and you dont have a trolly.

We used a large sledge such as the one below a couple of years ago to drag in almost 50kg of our stuff and save a trek back to the car.

We drilled some holes in the sides to pass bungee cords and string over the top so we could strap things on and fixed a thicker rope to the front for our hands.

Running it over rocks and gravel does the bottom no good at all. but it survived and was used once again for its proper purpose during the snow earlier this year :) Hopefully will be reusing it for the festival this year.

    • I'd be absolutely amazed if they went without a female headliner.

    • Kinda sounds like we’re heading towards Fender, Fontaines & Harry however I can’t see them not getting a female headliner so think it’ll be Fender or Fontaines and another. They’ll obviously try for Madonna but they’ve also tried before, really depends on whether she’s bothered about it.
    • and we are all set up for 222 and 122😉😊
