Early 90's Dance Music

Being 37 I have very good memories of the early 90's rave scene, and have found myself becoming very excited by some of the old skool action taking place at glastonbury this year.

I must admit i had never heard of bangface before i read about it on these very forums but it does sound like a good way to start the festival.

And with Snap also performing i might have too dig out the old gloves and whistle for one last rave.

Over the last few days I have been listening to some old rave tunes, but what was your favourite.

some old classics i have rediscovered are-

New Atlantic - I Know

Bizarre Inc - Playing with Knives

Oceanic - Insantity

DJPC - insomniak

plus many more

There's another thread nearby where a group of cheesy quavers are discussing the possibility of meeting up to locate some 20 year old dance music one night.

Spiral Tribe - Breach the Peace (Make some f**king noise)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaL5SevDM2o

ragga Twins - Hooligan 69 (The one with the Prince sample, not the pissy 'remix' cos of copyright issues)

Empirion - Narcotic Influence (Giving them drugs, taking their lives away..)

Leftfield -Open Up. Reminds me of megadog et al

Follow the Sun - The Drum Club

and a huge shout for the original 'Weekender' by flowered up. Not strictly dance, but still a f**king tune.

and then, when you get back home, spark up a big one to

Renegade Soundwave- Renegade Soundwave

I reckon Wordsworth must have been at some of the all nighters I was;

"Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive, But to be young was very heaven!"
