Anyone catch Slash at Glastonbury? He was fantastic, he played Nightrain, Rocket Queen, Civil War, Sweet Child O Mine and finished with Paradise City with Myles Kennedy doing his best Axl impression. It set me right up for GnR now!

aye slash was amazing at glasto! the singer was really good, but quite annoying that he was trying to sound like axl. i hate it when singers try to sound like other people!

Slash's set at Glastro proved the point that Axl is literally the only member of GnR that is truely un-replaceable. As great as the other member are, Axl really IS GnR.

The new one I'm noticing down the pub is the overuse of the word 'obviously'.

Miles Kennedy's vocal range is incredible. The fact that he was able to fill in for Axl Rose, Scott Weiland, Andrew Stockdale (Wolfmother - did the song "By the Sword" with Slash) and a few others proves that.

I wouldn't say he was so much "doing an axl impression" than he was singing the songs as they're intended. I saw Slash at Download, and Axl's lot are gonna have to go some way to top that performance.

I saw him at the Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton a while back. He never ceases to amaze me. He's quite possibly the most vicious comedian I've seen when he gets going; especially live.

Anyway... back to Guns N Roses.

This. Myles performed every song at download absolutely flawlessly and Axl is going to have to bring his A Game if hes gunna better Myles.

Aye it's a good sign. Having heard Slash's album I can't help but imagine he needs Axl more than ever.
