Pendulum

your Saturday headliners...

Arcade Fire - One of the most critically acclaimed bands of the 00's. The most relivent of all headliners this year.

Pendulum - Flash in the pan dance act who's music is already starting to sound dated.

Bad Religion - One of the most respected punk bands of all time

Ash - One of the popular bands of the 90's, a proper festival act.

I just do not see any other option accept maybe Arcade Fire, bad Religion or Ash :)

They are so poor

I pity anyone who misses arcade fire for them

just a piss poor atempt of the prodigy when it comes to their live performances just with some shitty singalongs.

they were best before he started singing in all the songs all the time, the atmosphere at the earlier gigs was really good now it's just a piss poor mosh pit

I'd say if your not into af, bad religion and ash are also brilliant alternatives

if you want a 'rave' go out of the festival and down the m4!

the atmosphere in the tent is blates going to be rather special for pendulum, were the highlight of my glasto 2007 weekend with their tour of hold your colour. awesome! I'd say fairy different from arcade fire, so go see who you prefer and stop whining. although Ash would be a viable alternative indeed as stated above

for myself its bad religion.i know theres a lot of hype with arcade fire and obviously pendulum are a good pull for some but if youre into any rock/punk/lock-up style bands then there really is no alternative, they are the grandaddies of them all.awesome album followed by awesome album, year after year.on fire with their recent live performances on their uk dates.

Tbh i'm only going to see Pendulum because all my friends are off to see them and I do want to hear Voodoo People Remix. Just hope to god Ben Mount doesn't over do it with his MC'ing.

I think this clash actually works out rather well. People who want to hear some proper music wont have to put up with all the chavs and idiots watching Pendulum, whilst those of us who are will be free of all the pretentious w*nkers fawning over Arcade Fire.

    • They had it last year too, between 3 and 4 pm.
    • I've been told beer will be cheaper until 6pm. Anyone can confirm?   Not like i'll drink more than 1-2 in 38 C degrees.
    • This!   Biffy Clyro I don't think would ever get asked, I just don't think it us their scene and it certainly wouldn't be a wise move for them after how the Finsbury Park show went. If they ever had a chance of regaining or staying a bit higher up taking Slam Dunk isn't how you do it. For the cost of it now I think being into the main headliner does make a difference though.
    • Sabrina I actually think is alright, but as an overall thing including Fontaines in the mix it does look very boring.
    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
