Yep, it works with the 3GS and you'll get 2 to two and a half charges.

Ta for bumping - here's my progress report.

I have used my phone as often as I usually do, but haven't charged it via it's adapter since Thursday morning.

I got the charging kit on Thursday afternoon, and charged it all up and ready that evening.

My 5800 needed it's first charge on Saturday evening - it took a couple of hours max (not sure the exact amount as I left it alone to charge). When it was done, full power. Lovely.

This morning (Tuesday) at around 7am, I noticed it was looking a bit depleted (2 bars) so I gave it another half an hour on the charger. At the time of writing, it has full bars.

I shall carry on using the charger until it runs out, but this concludes the experiment - considering it hasn't been plugged into it's adapter since Thursday morning and it is now Tuesday afternoon, that's a full 'Glasto range' and my phone has full health.

SUCCESS.

Ok, thanks folks, I'm ready to make the leap.

Bought one of those TekNet things a couple of weeks ago, whilst it's great for my sons iPod Touch (about 2 charges) it doesn't really work with the 3GS, gets to about 60% then just stops!

Mine arrived this morning and on charge now. Had a quick plug in to my HTC Desire and did start charging so at least I know it works with that.

However, has been on charge for about 3 hours now plugged in to USB. No instructions and can't find any on line for this model so does the red light go off when it's full?

Quick question (probably a dumb one).

It lists only the Sony K800i. Does this mean if i have a Sony C903 I can't use it?

Idea, use Ted Baker till its done at Glasto, then charge it with freeloader, would that work?

Got 2 and a half charges out of it for my Samsung S7220, well pleased with that!

my ted baker one doesnt work with my 3GS.

I emailed they guy I bought it from on ebay and he said he has had some similar reports. he was happy for me to try another one though and sent it out to me without me having to return the other. will report back if that works once I receive it.

My replacement one arrived and works fine, so he must have some duff stock.

Fair play to him for sending out the whole thing again, without asking for the faulty one back

Also seen this today, so ordered one to test out (if it ever gets sunny again!)

This might be stating the bleeding obvious and all ready posted (too many pages to go through them all ) , but its just as cheap to buy a couple of spare phone batteries.... i just got two on amazon for a tenner. Three batteries should last the whole fest easy....

Took 4 hours to charge mine today and works perfectly with HTC Desire. Ordered another one straight away
