i'd get rid of glen johnson, can't defend to save his life, absolutely no idea who england would have at right back instead though, not like theres a abundance of good english right backs in england

edit: i wouldn't be surprised at all if the hungary friendly has pretty much exactly the same starting 11 as the team that lost to the germans btw

What a dilema for F. Capp to pick the next team...

scenario... "I ama gonna get rit ov the whola squada and bring ina all the youngsters like whata the esfesters are telling me-a"

And so he does...and we dont qualify for the Euros...he`ll get f**kin slated eh.

There is def mileage in this seemingly smug attitude that England players now have, culivated by money and the media..that we are better than we actually are.

I dont know how you can get rid of that now, given the way Sky have transformed the Premier League into this Icelandic-like volcano of £££££.

Agents dictating to Chairmen about wages etc etc.

OK--- wipe the slate clean...bring in a totally new crop (of whom though?)--but surely they are being fed on the same diatribe as their older counterparts,---more even.

Y`know on a very very base level... maybe we should just drop all this discussion etc etc and simply get behind whoever the team is.... I`m patriotic and it doesnt matter who they put out---i will have the same hopes and asperations for. All i want is to see some passion back in them---dont necessarily have to win stuff, although that would be great--i just wanna see the bastards play with the pride I have in my country. I`d sort the bastards out.

Den--- less f**kin sick, but a bit more f**kin sick than I was yesterday for some f**kin reason

bbc- please climb out of messi's ass for at least 5mins, it's unbelievable.

schweinsteiger is having an amazing game, completely bossing the game, hopefully 2nd half will be as good as the first

also, well done bbc for calling charlize theron a 'wag'

klose's a beast at world cups isn't he? looks like goodbye argies

going on team performances over the last 2 games, i can see germany winning the world cup, their entire squad just seems to up for it. schweinsteiger or muller definately best players of the tournament so far imo.

25 quid on over 2.5 goals at even. yay! :D added onto the £7.50 profit i got yesterday. nice! watch me lose it all tonight :P

why were argentina favourites for this though? germany are something else, without having any proper world class players.

The thing is germany have afew players on their way to being world class, while other countries have players who are called world class when they havent perfomed in the biggest games of their career or based on things they did 2-3 years ago.

£108 off the england game

got £30 on klose scoring first, 2-1 half time for the england game (£2 at 15-1, wish used labrokes who had crazy odds on that), also got £58 on muller scoring twice (£2 at 24-1). then got another £20 on germany winning at half and full time + by 3 goals (£1 on 20-1, kind of low odds really which sucks a bit, but did put that on after germany went 2-0 up)

then £54 on todays game

£14 from klose scoring twice today (£1 at 14-1) and germans to win 4-0 got me £40 back (£2 at 20-1 just after they scored their 2nd).

weird cos doing crap on other games (started with a tenner on skybet, up to £190 odd at the mo saying that) - all my bets on the germans seem to be coming off

fancy torres to finally score tonight

    • A name I didn’t think of. Maybe too big though. Think he’d go down very well despite being quite controversial.
    • Oh bummer, got excited then 😂   Although if I had read all the way down it would have been a bit of a give away, no other festival will book both of those 😂
    • I think the age of tickets flying out day one for a lot of artists is drawing to a close now, especially with the prices.   There will be exceptions of course, I was surprised how quickly Phoebe Bridgers sold out
    • Tbf they sold out the mainland European shows that follow this UK tour more or less immediately so I guess much of Europe will be stadiums for them next summer regardless and they might want to bring any stadium bespoke production here, even if it's just one night at a London stadium or whatever.    I like the new album and wanted to see them again but £150 for a standing ticket is ridiculous and all the sub-£100 price categories sold out. So you know, would like to go but guess I'm waiting for any last minute dropouts. Tbf I would hazard a guess of these 4 UK shows in November that more tickets are sold than unsold and by the time of the show it'll be, if not a full house, close enough.
    • I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility    It would feel like a bit of waste for their first set in the UK for 12 years be an hour and 10 mins as a sub    A lot of people will buy day tickets just for FNM
