Completely disagree.

He barely even saw him coming to even think about elbowing the fella.

He moved his arm to protect himself when he noticed the player was going to run into him.

Keita was disgraceful and should be banned for deceiving the ref.

How the ref made the decision without even seeing it is rediculous too

Keitas actions lacked any common sense. Ivory coast had already lost the game. So all he heas effectively done is weaken brazil when ivory coast will probably need a favour from them in the last game.

Another thought about England I have had. For all the doom and gloom in the media, most of the other bigger names are doing no better. Only brazil, argentina and holland have walked through the group stages. Italy are probably in a slightly better position as a draw may well be enough for them. However I would take englands current position ahead of germany, france and spain.

I can't help but be disappointed at this attitude to the travails of the French. Taking pleasure in the misfortune of others, in part of because of our own disappointing performance over the years. Unacceptable. We are not Scottish, for crying out loud.

It's also crap watching them play. Tis a shame to see a great footballing nation reduced to where they are at the moment.

South Africa to win against France is 21/10 on Skybet. Host nation with nothing to lose versus a side with no motivation and little goal threat. To punt or not to punt?

Keita should have been sent off for two yellows.

1st yellow - Deliberate barge into Kaka

2nd yellow - Unsporting behaviour for simulation.

As yellow cards cant be appealed Kaka should have made the red worthwhile by kicking the cheating bugger in the teeth and really giving him something to cry about.

Hope Fifa see sense and allow this to be appealled though. Extraordinary circumstances usually just covers mistaken identity but surely common sense should prevail

    • It's even less funny when in real life too...   Liddle met Rachel Royce and the couple soon became romantically involved.[84] In January 2004 the couple married at a ceremony in Malaysia. They had been living in Heytesbury, Wiltshire, and had two sons together. Six months later, Liddle moved in with Alicia Monckton, a 22-year-old receptionist at The Spectator. It transpired that he had cut short his honeymoon with Royce so that he could be with Monckton. Following their divorce, Liddle and Royce exchanged attacks in the media. Liddle called her a "total slut and slattern"

    • he was a provocateur
    • He was also arrested for allegedly punching his pregnant girlfriend.   Such a charmer.
    • George Borg - now he was a character. Both terrifying and endearing, often in the space of 5 minutes. Entertaining times back then!
