Gomez

Would make my weekend. The only thing stopping me from getting a ticket for HRC is the fact I'll be at Glasto. Gomez supported Pearl Jam on their last UK dates, so I guess there could be a hint of management/marketing connection about the whole event.

Hope not though.

In fact, I hope that Gomez turn up, with PJ in tow, but that'll never happen. :P

Looks like these are headlining Avalon on the Sunday. With Stevie, Orbital & Rodrigo y Gabriella already one of the worst Glasto clashes in history (for me :P). This Gomez confirmation should have been a happy event. But instead the stage-timing is a huge let down. Don't know what to do.. Might go and have a little cry actually :P

If only they were on Saturday night, or earlier on one of the bigger stages..

Well come on then, those with connections to any of Gomez should start suggesting that there'll be lots of disappointed fans if they don't play another little gig somewhere across the weekend. We'll all help. Unannounced in the Bimble Inn or down the Rabbit Hole 3am Monday morning? :P

Clash from hell, but my absolute highlight from the lineup. I couldn't be more stoked than when I saw their name on the bill, then I realised that, like 2009 they saved the best clashes for the closing sets on several stages.

Oh, and I actually think that they have consistently produced quality music, so it's funny how tastes can vary :P

Second slot (rabbit hole 3am!) would get a vote from me (although I'd just be seeing them twice;))

Yeah, How we operate and particularly In our gun were great albums (and get more eartime for me than the first 2 now, no matter how classic those albums are/were).

Petition away fine fellow, be sure of at least 1 signature :P

    • 1. Baby Dave - Billy 2. A - Prang   Not really got round to listening to many more in May so not really fair to vote but shoutout to EPs from Bleech 9:3 - Bleech 9:3 & Villanelle - Measly Means
    • Guitarricadelafuente was bloody brilliant tonight. This is going to be a very Spanish focussed year for me. Rusowsky dragging out Las Ketchup on Saturday has the potential to be a Prima magic moment.
    • £112 for standard entry. No thank you.
    • Meanwhile Gracie Abrams is £92 for the cheapest with the average price around £160 for lower tier and £103 standing.   First time in a while I've gone from a definite yes to a definite no on price alone.   Amble was £31 this morning.
