Dunno I think that may be a bit pedantic.

To go in line with special guests of previous years it kinda has to be

• a special guest due to contractual reasons,

• Doing something between now and June/July that means they don't want to be announced yet,

• Go with the type of music for that night,

• Fit in size wise.

My money's on The Blackout, right sorta size and playing Download so might be why they can't be announced. A Day To Remember are playing Blink's day judging by their twitter, and also they're nowhere near bigger than Frank.

Putting someone as 'special guests' generally means that they're playing a slot they wouldn't normally play (i.e. the libs sub-headlining as special guests), otherwise it would just be an unannounced booking.

So its tough to judge what size act it will be.

Im gonna go with the popular choice and say Julian Casablancas (could play higher up much easily and is celebrity enough to be classed as a 'special' guest)

I'm gonna say Does It Offend You, Yeah.

They're touring this year, have a new album due out, last November they told us after a gig they were planning on doing R/L, playing the Prodigy MK gig below Pendulum and Enter Shikari.

I just can't think of a reason they would be down as special guests. Hopefully they'll do dance tent or something if they're not the SG, love them, especially live

Yeah mate if you'd noticed, TCV weren't listed, even as Special Guests. There just happened to be a big gap between Patrick Wolfe and You Me At Six in the stage time.

Take a look at it guys, it will be a band on a mini reform or newly created sort of thing, i dont think type of music matters.

My money would be on Renegades??? (Play a few classic feeder songs along with new stuff would work quite well at that point of the day, right sort of size band for that time of day.

We wont find out until we know who plays at Leeds on the Friday, this might get leaked a week before.
