So many tunes take me back there and agree with so many but 2 that get me everytime are:

Add me to the list for One Day Like This by Elbow. My first Glasto and was about 3 people back from the barrier. Whenever I hear it now, I can hear Guy saying 'are you ready, Glastonbury?' before launching into 'so throw those curtains wide...' - brings a lump to my throat every time. A proper Glasto moment - I finally understood what it was all about having watched it on the telly for years

Oh and Waterloo Sunset and The Universal after last year too.

It was my first Glasto last year, but I have watched the TV coverage for a number of years previously. I totally agree that Elbow - One Day Like This reminds me of their performance, it looked like one of those perfect moments, even from the sterile view of the BBC cameras. The other one is Faithless - We Come One, I bet that was amazing!

on the Saturday I saw the king blues cover it, Dizzee play it then Dj yoda and 2 many Dj's drop it in some sort pof remixed form.

The first time I went in 07 he was in the John Peel tent, I could here him from my tent.

It's strange how a lot of the songs are ones people didn't actually see being played live.

Same thing about the global gathering festival I went to about 6 years ago, the one song that reminds me of that is the Libertines - can't stand me now, it was playing on the radio as we were pulling into the site

Flaming Lips - Race for the Prize!

The first time I saw what is now one of my most favourite bands was at Glastonbury & this song always brings a smile to my face & always reminds me of Glastonbury.

Also oddly Eminem - Slim Shady

Whatever year it was released, I heard it on the radio on our trip down (back in the days when we used to just roll up on the Thursday & there would still be plenty of camping space left....) & it always reminds me of the excitement of travelling down to Glastonbury. Why that song out of the hundreds I've listened to on the way down I have no idea!?!

really strange one for me, standing in a field with about 100 other people in front of the other stage, ice cold cider in my hands and watching the boxer rebellion play flashing red light means go. whenever i play that song at home it always takes me back
