I have friends to try and help that day, but I am at the FA Cup semi final the day before and our coach doesn't get back to Brum till 3am! This could be very messy!

I think it might be a few more than 10,000 as why did they extend the payment deadline for the first release of tickets ?. Was it because they were concerned about the number of people who had actually paid the full amount ? do we ever actually find out the numbers available for the resale or is it just speculation ?

Almost every year there's a new conspiracy theory - sometimes more than one.

In recent memory there's only been one year where there was a large number of unsold tickets. One could detect this because the festival said: "We've got a large number of unsold tickets." :P

This year is set to be a 'standard year'. Another resale in May, perhaps one or two small ones. No reason to be believe there's a secret stash of tickets that the festival is hiding in a weird bluffing game.

A group of mates didn't get their tickets on T-Day as they couldn't be arsed to get out of bed on time, despite my warnings.

These same mates have been badgering me to tell them when a resale was, and I said probably in April.

They've all bought V Tickets since 'on the strength of the V Line Up' so won't be coming to Glastonbury.

Am I right to be slightly relieved?

Yes.

And you want to trade in your mates for new models.

Although how your wife will take the news that you are hanging around with models, I don't know.

Doesn't matter how much I reason with myself that I don't wanna go...or how many alternatives I book...theres always a little voice in the background saying 'go-on, you need to be there!' :P

It would be my 20th anniversary of first going to Glasto too...

    • Remain self-imposed on not going north of a hundred, but... we're getting to the point now where the starting gun will be above that for some acts.
    • I'm finding the lower line up a little impenetrable this year   Any thoughts on heavier bands a la Slift a few years ago?
    • Will be curious to see how most of those shows sell. Surprised they're playing Leeds and Manchester - much as I am with Megadeth. (Not complaining, mind you.)
